Lead Pastors

Jeff and Shari planted King City Church in October of 2015. When God gave them the vision for King City, there was no building, no finances, no staff, no team, and no idea of how it would all come together. They took a leap of faith moving back to Tupelo to plant a healthy life-giving church in the region.

Since planting King City Church, they have been amazed by God’s faithfulness and all that He has done. Thousands of people have made a decision to follow Jesus. From adding services to launching ministries or putting on conferences, people are being reached, and lives are being transformed. Expectations have been exceeded, and God has done immeasurably more than they asked for or even imagined.

Jeff and Shari got married in 1991, and have two children, Bre and Bry. Jeff and Shari are both originally from Tupelo, MS. They met at the church they both attended, and since marrying, they have been in fulltime ministry. They have served as lead pastors since 1992 except from 2010-2015 where they both served on staff at Cornerstone Church in Southaven, MS.

Jeff and Shari both earned their Bachelor of Arts degrees from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. Jeff also holds a master’s degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University. They are both graduates of the National Institute of Christian Leaders, an accredited master’s level training of Dr. Mark Rutland.

They are passionate about preaching the Gospel, raising up leaders, and helping people discover their God-given gifts. They are grateful for all that God has done, but one thing they know for certain, the BEST is still to come.
